About Vidhi Ekta Sngh (VES)

Law is a fraternity.
We make sure no one walks in alone.

Vidhi Ekta Sangh (विधि एकता संघ) is a registered Trust under the Indian Trust Act 1882; it is national, volunteer-led organisation that helps young legal professionals find their footing - and gives back to society through their leadership, communication & legal aid.

Our Mission

Our mission is to unite, empower and protect India’s legal fraternity by creating one national platform where Law Students, Advocates, Judges and Legal Professionals can learn, connect, contribute and grow together.

Our vision

To build India’s largest, strongest and most united legal fraternity, connecting Law Students, Advocates, Judges and Legal Professionals through one shared vision of Unity, Integrity, Empowerment and Justice.

Our approach

We connect the entire legal journey through action, opportunity and collective responsibility. VES follows a fraternity-first approach, bringing Law Students, Advocates, Judges and Legal Professionals together while creating meaningful opportunities to learn, participate, lead and contribute.

Our story

From forty students to a national movement

Vidhi Ekta Sngh began with a simple idea: to create a platform where members of the legal community could connect, support one another and grow together. The journey began through a YouTube channel focused on Allahabad University admissions, followed by the creation of a Telegram community on 1 May 2022. As the community expanded, VES formally emerged as a legal association in September 2022, with a larger vision of uniting Law Students, Advocates, Judges and Legal Professionals.

Since then, VES has grown beyond a student-focused initiative into a national legal fraternity with internships, scholarships, legal education, competitions, research, journalism, advocacy, legal awareness and professional opportunities. Its specialised platforms include ITC Legal News, Nyay Sahayata Kendra, Nyay Parisar Abhiyan, Vidhi Darpan, SAFAR Podcast and Voice of Bar. VES has also expanded its college and court networks and developed institutional collaborations.

Today, VES continues its journey with one larger objective: to unite, empower and strengthen India’s legal fraternity through Unity, Integrity, Empowerment and Justice.

Adv. Vikas Maurya

Founder & National President

From the founder

“I envision VES as a movement uniting India’s legal fraternity, empowering law students, strengthening advocates, and building a lasting legacy of unity, integrity and justice.”

Vikas Maurya is the Founder and President of Vidhi Ekta Sngh (VES), a national legal fraternity established with a vision to unite Law Students, Advocates, Judges and Legal Professionals under the four foundational pillars of Unity, Integrity, Empowerment and Justice. A legal professional and advocate associated with the Allahabad High Court, Prayagraj, Vikas Maurya has developed his professional journey around law, advocacy, legal research, public legal awareness and institution building. His work reflects a strong commitment towards strengthening the legal community and creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation of legal professionals. Beyond his individual legal practice, Vikas has dedicated significant effort towards building VES as a national platform for the legal fraternity. Under his leadership, VES has developed initiatives across legal education, internships, competitions, legal research, journalism, advocacy, legal awareness, professional networking and community engagement. Vikas has also been involved in legal and public-interest initiatives, including legal cases, Right to Information applications, legal awareness activities and public-interest litigation before the Allahabad High Court. These efforts reflect his belief that the legal profession carries a responsibility not only towards the courtroom, but also towards society. As the Founder of VES, his vision extends beyond creating another legal organisation. He seeks to build an ecosystem where a law student entering the profession, an advocate developing their practice, a judge serving the cause of justice and every other legal professional can remain connected through a common fraternity. His philosophy is rooted in one fundamental belief: The future of India’s legal system will be stronger when its legal fraternity stands together. Through VES, Vikas Maurya continues to work towards building a national legal movement that empowers individuals, creates opportunities, encourages professional excellence and strengthens the collective voice of the legal fraternity. His ultimate vision is clear: to build one of India’s largest, strongest and most united legal fraternities, not merely by numbers, but by the depth of its impact, the integrity of its people and its commitment to justice.
